Marketing Manager (m/f/d) Sony Classical International

(full time, permanent, start: asap, location: Berlin)

What you do

  • Planning of international Sony Classical, XXIM Records, and Masterworks frontline releases
  • Development of marketing strategies for artists and their projects in cooperation with the Digital Marketing/Social Media and Commercial Operations teams of the label group
  • Development and creation of international marketing tools
  • Regular communication with international affiliates in all relevant markets (release information, status updates, monitoring demands of marketing tools)
  • Creation of international marketing campaigns (paid advertisement and organic social media activities, promotion, events…)
  • Regular creation of internal release newsletters
  • Maintenance and update of internal systems and databases for worldwide communication of marketing tools

Who you are

  • Very good knowledge of the classical music market
  • You follow current trends in marketing and social media
  • Very good communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Negotiating and presentation skills, time flexibility, ability to work under pressure and in a team
  • Fluent written and spoken business English
  • Degree in marketing / media management or similar qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in product management or in marketing

It is responsible for all international productions of Sony Classical, XXIM Records, and Masterworks, as well as their marketing. The area of Sony Classical International’s responsibility extends from the signing and development of new talent, to productions with established artists, right up to the evaluation and maintenance of the existing catalogue.
