October 1999 im Sports Pavillon Mexico City in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound sind auf dieser DVD diverse Bonus Video Clips, ein von Zack de la Rocha geführtes Interview mit dem Schriftsteller Noam Chomsky und eine Rede des EZLN Führers Marcos enthalten. Dieses Konzert wurde in Auszügen während der Veröffentlichung des Albums "The Battle of Los Angeles" von MTV ausgestrahlt, und ist nun in voller Länge zu haben! 68 Minuten reines Adrenalin. Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello, Tim Bob Commerford und Brad Wilk wüten auf der Bühne, 5000 entfesselte Zuschauer mit ihnen. Wer je ein Konzert von Rage Against The Machine miterlebt hat, weiß, dass es hier um viel mehr geht als nur um die Musik. Hier ist alles echt, hier gibt es keinen doppelten Boden, hier regiert die Wut. Die Wut gegen soziale und politische Missstände. Und dieser Wut lässt das engagierte Quartett aus Los Angeles freien Lauf. Egal ob in "Guerrilla Radio" mit seinen skandierten, eindringlichen "All-hell-can´t-stop-us-now"-Gesängen, die einem in Mark und Bein fahren, ob in dem durchschlagenden "Bombtrack", jenem Crossover-Klassiker aus dem ´92-er Debütalbum der Band, oder im abschließenden "Freedom". Wobei anzumerken ist, dass auf THE BATTLE OF MEXICO CITY der unglaublich dichte und für Rage- Against-The-Machine-Konzerte so charakteristische, komplexe Sound optimal eingefangen wurde.
