Mit einem unrunden Jubiläum wird Billy Joel und sein "Piano Man" gefeiert. Im nächsten Jahr hat das Album sagenhafte 40 Jahre auf dem Buckel. Natürlich "remastered", also im feinsten Klang und natürlich grundsätzlich bekannt. Das Album glänzt jedoch mit einem umwerfenden und unveröffentlichten Bonus-Album ! Ein komplettes LIVE-Konzert aus dem Jahr 1972 ! Eingespielt beim amerikanischen Radio-Sender WMMR. Hier hört man/frau nicht nur die ersten Versionen von Klassikern wie "Captain Jack" oder "The Ballad of Billy the Kid", die im übrigen schon ziemlich so klingen, wie die bekannten (und ein Jahr später auf "Piano Man" veröffentlichten) Versionen. Zusätzlich gibt es hier drei Songs, die es bisher auf keinem anderen Billy Joel Album zu hören gab: "Long, long time", "Rosalinda" und "Josephine". Grob gesagt: Die Mutter aller Billy Joel-Aufnahmen :-) Frisch, engagiert und irgendwie jugendlich ! Ein echter LEGACY-Hmmer !
